Sax: tenor
Material: metal

Description: The ‘Benny Carter’ mouthpiece models were made by an English distributor from Otto Link blanks and was stamped ‘Benny Carter Foreign’ on the top.
Benny Carter mouthpieces were made from Otto Link Four**** tenor mouthpiece blanks and distributed by an English company and the French company Chedville (which later became Lelandais). Other than their name there is little relationship to the saxophonist Benny Carter (1907-2003) who played alto saxophone with an Otto Link Tone Master. Unlike the “Coleman Hawkins Special” models that were part of the Otto Link line of mouthpieces, “Benny Carter” mouthpieces were not official Otto Link products.
