Description: Each mouthpiece made by Johannes Gerber in South Africa (www.jgerber.com) is hand-finished. The Studio model was designed with versatility in mind, and features a medium baffle with a bullet-shaped cut-out which smoothly blends the baffle into the bore, and thin rails.

Description: The Johannes Gerber Jazz model features a large roll-over baffle and concave side walls, giving a rather dark sound.

Model:  Johannes Gerber Custom

Sax: alto, tenor

Chamber:  large

Baffle: low

Description: The Custom model has the highest baffle (a step-baffle) and is conseqyently the loudest of all Gerber mouthpieces. The side-walls are slightly concave at the second step, which smoothly blends the chamber into the throat.

Johannes Gerber mouthpieces come with an own ligature (shown on the left).
