David Hite (1923-2004) was an Ametican clarinet teacher and clarinet mouthpiece maker. Together with his wife, he founded the J&D Hite mouthpiece company in 1980. J&D Hite mouthpieces are made of hard rubber and are now part of the JJ Babbitt family of mouthpiece models.
