Jessen Mouthpieces
Peter Jessen
Peter Jessen started playong saxopone at the age of 12, and began an apprentice in woodwind repair at the age of 16. Peter Jessen produces small numbers of mouthpieces, saxophone necks, and saxophones in his shop in Copenhagen, Denmark. All mouthpieces are completely made by hand from cast blanks in either bronze or sterling silver. He strives for the “magic in between” mouthpieces that combine the fullness of vintage mouthpieces, and the speed of modern designs.
