Description: The Phil-Tone mouthpiece is a medium/large chamber mouthpiece with a medium/low baffle, capable of producing a medium-dark tone at modest tip opening. Being custom made, every mouthpiece can be ordered to the specifications of each customer. The tenor piece on the left still has the protective sticker over the logo. An alto model is shown below.
Phil Tone mouthpieces are handcrafted one-by-one by Philip Engleman in his studio in Oregon, USA, since 2005. Chamber, rails, and baffles can be customized according to the customer’s wishes. They are distributed by Junk Dude in Pickerington, east of Columbus, Ohio, USA.
